The single most-cited issue in ADA website claims. Every image, icon link and decorative graphic is checked for a usable text alternative.

Why ADA website claims keep rising
There is no ADA "certificate" for a website. In practice, courts and settlement agreements point at WCAG 2.1 Level AA, and a demand letter usually starts with a short list of very ordinary failures: an unlabelled search box, a menu that cannot be reached with the keyboard, grey text on a grey background, a checkout image with no alt text. Every one of those is detectable before anyone complains.
What to do with the report
Start with the critical and serious findings — they are the ones that stop a visitor completing a task and the ones that appear in claims. Each finding names the failing element, the WCAG success criterion, and the fix. Re-scan after each change and keep the exported report: a dated record of what you checked and repaired is worth a great deal if anyone ever asks.
